Pole Line TM Insulators
EPAC-Polyline insulators feature a high dielectric, smooth, glossy finish that is UV-stabilized for a prolonged service life. EPAC uses an advanced method for securing end fittings, where Tongue and Clevis Hardware is crimped onto the rod from all directions simultaneously, eliminating the need for adhesives. The end fitting design ensures flashovers occur at the outer rim, away from the rods. Each insulator undergoes a pull test to confirm its rated strength. The polyester resin compound used in the pultruded rod resists hardening or becoming brittle over time. The rod maintains stability under tension and vibration. The dielectric strength of 1 inch of rod equals 16.5KV dry impulse. EPAC-Polyline Insulators are produced to LWIWG-03 specification.

Weathering: After fifteen years of use there is no change in appearance or characteristics. Each Bracket is coated with Acrylic resin for longer life.
Flame Resistance: When exposed to Bunsen Burner flame at 1500 F for 45 seconds, Flame self-extinguished in 5 seconds. At 60 second exposure to same flame required 30 seconds to self-extinguish.
